It's funny that I write this now.
You know I watch these anime cartoons, but one......one hits almost too close to home. it hits two things in my mind. first off.....why is it that I see those which I see, feel those who I feel, sense that which I sense.....and Know those things I know. why is it that a)certain people can do so, and b)why do we? now second thing that gets to me, Are those what I see, sense.....will they go after those whom are in my family, or those whom are connected to me in multiple ways.
Knowing what I experience, knowing what.......I ......must do......it brings me dread in the back of my mind. I know that I have to do....there is no mistake, and I know at least a few people understand.....when you are given something, one must use it for the good of those around you, and those precious..... in a sense, not only must you protect those whom are important, but you also must protect those who cannot.
On the approach of one of those...in some religious spheres...most holy of day where you give back to the earth, and other religions, the day where spirit power is at most pinnacle, and then to some....the most evil day, as specters, demons roam the earth.......I don't care to which on describes to, but I know in part of it, Christmas for me, in a partial view, a day for doing nothing, to give back, and to meditate on what is, and will be, though....knowing there is those whom will use it to bend the spirit world to their wish. it is those, that I must concentrate on not just me, but also to watch for others.
I know some of the responses I am going to get....I understand the worry. I know, boy do I know, you play with certain things, forces unknown fully, unseen to most, there is a possibility of loosing...especially when a lone wolf anymore. the time is coming, I have been feeling this for a long time, there used to be writing on my white board, that is now filled with TV schedules, pin-ups, invader zim magnets, school schedules, work info....big, bold letter...the end is truly near. I am not just saying end of the world, of the whole christian belief, but I also know about there is going to be a meta-physical end.
I no longer feel as though I am in correct phase, haven't felt so in....so very long......feeling of missing the feel of being in on real or the other....to be honest is making me feel....sad. a feeling I have been trying so long or avoid with anti-depressants....could be the withdrawal of the Prozac, but I doubt it.....it has been long enough that the Prozac is no longer in my system.......why am I out of phase....I feel like I am slipping between, and just do NOT have full mind in either.
I have a sense I know when things will end, and a feeling it is not far.....it is a surreal feeling.....knowing....when you know....you aren't scared....if yeah catch my idea...if not....ask I will try to explain. it is a feeling that you cannot mistake.

There are more people out there realize that have just been frightened into keeping silent about it and ignoring it. Others have embraced it, but for the wrong reasons. That leaves people like me.

Psychological Freedom
Have you experienced not believing a piece of news because of the person who relayed it? A news item may seem incredible but if the news bearer is trustworthy, or he is an influential or popular personality, or someone know and respected in the community, it is usually easy for us to believe the news.
I also find myself incredulous and obstinate in accepting as true a news account coming from a person of questionable character or a person without credibility.
In our present world, we unconsciously ostracize other people because our values, beliefs and traditions are different from them. There is a strong human tendency to judge people by the labels society gives. Most of the time we impose on other people what we want them to be because they are not like us.
In our life, how often do we accuse and condemn others without even listening to their side? Is it because we always think that we know the truth better than anybody else?
Wasn’t it said, “Don’t judge the book by its cover!” well, our prejudices and biases often prevent us from seeing the beauty, the greatness and potentials of the person before us.
A very common source of our prejudices is our own upbringing. As we were growing up, we might have been told that such and such a person was worth trustworthy or not. Isn’t it about time to review this and correct whatever mis-education we have had? It is most urgent for all of us to examine ourselves and purge the biases that do not allow us to see others in a better light and thus blocking us from treating them in a civil manner as we ought to.
We must always remember that every wrong thing that we see in others has an equivalent in ourselves. Thus, everytime we judge, we condemn our own selves. So we have to stop applying a measuring stick to other people; for at least there is one more dimension, which we know nothing about, in every person’s life situation.
Ayan, having letting off steam, thus do I vow to no longer get affected or else I would be no different. Pero that’s the thing with prejudice and hate, it’s a mystery whether the best course of action would be really to turn the other cheek. Perhaps this is why so many people are abused unjustly, whether physically, verbally, emotionally, professionally, is because nobody fights back against the abuse and the abuser, to go by behaviorist theory, receives positive reinforcement for the wrong he/she has done and gets conditioned to continue doing it.
It’s a confusing world.

AAAAAAHHHH!!!!I'm hoping she will read this blog and find out. :-)
I just got the strangest but most amazing message right now at my multiply. This girl whom I've never met asked me about if I’m still believed that “marriage is for better or worst, (‘till death do us part)”???
Yes, I still do believe in that saying, but more as a guide than a mandate that should not be broken under any circumstance.
A simple scenario should put things in perspective: What if your husband turned out to be a wife – beater? Would you think that vow should be honored? If you do, then eventually, you’d still part – because you had died from the abuse.
Kidding aside, I think the purpose of that vow is under normal circumstances; both parties should try their best to mend any problems they encounter. That’s the whole point of marrying someone – you wish to share (you) life with them. Life isn’t all good obviously, so if you still decide to marry someone then you should be fully aware that there will be problems.
That’s what the vow usually addresses, but there are always exceptions to the rule. Sometimes there are relationships that just don’t fit no matter how hard you try. Wife – beaters, cheaters, etc. make it very easy to make an exception to that vow. But what about those immature children who decide to get married just because they’re of legal age, then realize that it was a big mistake. Or for those who absolutely loved one another and decided to go against all odds, only to find out that the whole world was going against them.
Regardless of love intentions, there are instances that the relationships simply cannot thrive. In those cases, that vow shouldn’t hinder your happiness. That’s exactly how my aunt and uncle split up, not because uncle was a bad person, but because it just wouldn’t work out- and forcing the issue won’t do you any good.
In fact everything went smoother when they separated. It’s different when you try to force the issue. They’ve already stuck together for their kids’ sake in their formative years.
There wasn’t really much “coping” in my cousins’ part because they never raised in a traditional environment. My cousins are products of a second woman… Ergo this totally negates the normal view that marriages are “forever.” In fact, it could be argued that my cousins are the very things that destroyed the previous marriage, but that’s beside the point.
Both sides my cousins family have multiple instances of multiple marriages and separations. Simply put, that my cousins are raised with this awareness – that marriages, among other things, cannot be assumed to last forever without exceptions.
***
Luckily for us, (together with my siblings) we don’t have to undergo those dramas. Well communication is the key to the success of most marriages. It has been said that unless we can honestly say what we feel, good or bad to the people we love, we cannot truly say we are one. Marriage is not just an emotional and physical union - it's also a financial union.

On the road
Smallest car in Europe? The same car Sophie drove in Da Vinci Code.
I’ve said it many times to my good friend r.mesina but I will say it again here so that my readers can see my point of view. Most if not all, of the traffic signs in the metropolis are placed on spot where traffic enforces love to congregate. You’ll be a hypocrite if you say you don’t know the reason for that – enforces’ congregation, that is “Unloading and loading” signs almost everywhere. Also, the “No Stopping Anytime” sign as visible as the “No Parking” Sign. But come to think of it. Most, if not all, of them are placed on areas where it is convenient for both commuters and bus jeepney drivers to go to.
Usually, the traffic signs are placed far away from where it is convenient for commuters to flag their public rides. Take the case of the overpass. Isn’t it convenient for commuters if “Loading / unloading” signs are placed near overpass? But no, you will find the signs a bit farther from an overpass, thus inconveniencing commuters as they need to still walk another mile or two from he stairs of an overpass.
Such signs also lure the bus /jeepney / taxi / revo & fx dribers to laod / unload their passengers at the foot of an over pass – right in front of the “ No loading / Unloading” Signs – to ease the inconvenience of their customers.
Most of the time, traffic enforces ignore violations. Again, if you don’t know the reason, you were born yesterday. Once in awhile, traffic enforcers enforce the law. Again, if you don’t know the reason, you were born yesterday. Anyway, corruption it is that makes traffic enforces to either ignore the violations or enforce the laws. Bottom-line is, the traffic signs are there yes, but they are placed on areas that are actually convenient for bus and any other public vehicles drivers’ passengers and traffic enforcers you know what I mean. It is only when a traffic enforcer is either in a bad mood or new in the beat – or his superior suddenly gets temperamental through a sudden apprehension. In short, corruption my dear is the other meaning of traffic sign in the metropolis.

Seasons of Celebrations

Myspace Codes: MyNiceSpace.com
How can agnostic and atheists thrive in the Philippines when our churches burst at the seams on Christmas Day and are jam-packed on all Sundays of the years?
For those who lack the imagination to conceive God, including the arrogant ones who dismiss His existence, the soil here is simply too arid and the environment demoralizing.
Most agnostic are boring and atheist are loners. To agnostics and atheist, there’s nothing to believe but disbelief. It’s like the mind hits dead end, an impossible scenario for Filipinos in whose veins run the charism (transcendent) of Christianity and the mysticism (magical) of orientals. Filipinos best understand the spirit of Christmas. The Philippines is the only country on earth where Christmas is an exuberance enjoyed longer than any feast.
If you are a Filipino visiting Europe, the strange experience you’ll encounter is the eerie feeling of empty churches in European cities. To think that it was Christianity that was mainly responsible for the creation of Europe’s culture starting at the dawn of the middle age. It was Catholicism that established great universities, promoted and patronized great work of arts; build great cathedrals and buildings exemplifying architectural and engineering excellence.
Today its thousands of Filipino expats who are filling those empty European churches, forming a congregation that resounds with prayers, songs, liturgies and worship. Perhaps the agnostics and atheists in Europe, who are aplenty, find churches filled with Filipinos an object of curiosity or derision. What they can’t see are God’s mysteries comprehensive only through faith, which Filipino have. For Filipinos God’s love is there inside the church in actually and continuity, which began in a cold cave in Bethlehem.
God the creator is also superb communicator. He knows our human nature to respond readily to ideas by using heart and mind.
Christmas is the miracle that only a religion of love can offer to mankind as fresh and appealing as it presented itself to all mankind two thousand years ago. Again and again the whole world celebrates Christmas as the universal symbol for peace and goodwill, exactly as the angels announced in Bethlehem.
“Peace on earth, good will to men” This call for universal peace and happiness is the perfect answer for man’s frustration on his earthy imperfection. We needed Jesus to be born so that we can free from the fear of unknown. We needed an authentic and original teacher to spare us the indignity of ignorance and the absurdity of errors caused by myths and superstitions of old, and the self-destructing philosophies of bourgeoisie opulence in our modern world.
The big bullies of atheism, Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong, have long been dead and communism was a colossal failure as godless socioeconomic philosophy yet world peace is elusive as ever. Today our life’s safety is shattered by a new evil called global terrorism, a bizarre form of war triggered by racial hatred and religious bigotry victimizing innocent people.
Our need to keep going back to the babe in Bethlehem becomes more profound as the world plunges itself into a crisis, a crisis called by the late Pope John Paul II as the “culture of death.”
Contemporary technologies make a big breakthroughs one after the other, causing big changes in the way people live and think. Information technology empowers people in controlling their material destinies at the risk of compromising the spiritual and moral.
The digital age reveals a resurgence of egoism, individualism, and relativism, deadly sins of the intellect and the cause of disagreement with the moral law, the law that reflects God’s truth.
It is any wonder that after God gave us the gift of life, He then gave us a gift of love – a baby in the manger. Babies are our instinctive and instantaneous objects of love.
Filipino knows the kind of love. They can feel it and give it.
It’s never too late for agnostics and atheists to receive and give love. Like humble shepherds or wise Magis they can call on the same Jesus in Bethlehem now present in the Blessed Sacrament, the Eucharist. They are most welcome.

Get ready for Christmas 2006

Everyone has a birthday. This month, we will be celebrating the birthday of Jesus. No one really knows exactly when Jesus was born and there have been many speculations about the exact date of his birth. But what matter most is that he was born to Mary and Joseph so he could save us all. That’s why Christmas is a time of rejoicing, for giving and sharing and for loving one another as Jesus loves us.
With Christmas only five days away, it’s time to get ready. There is so much to look forward too. The four weeks before Christmas are called “Advent”,which comes from a Latin word meaning “arrival” or “to come”. Christmas is the much awaited season of the year. Filipinos loved it so much that you can hear Christmas carols being played over the radio as soon as the months ends on –ber, as in September, October, and November. This is also the busiest time of the year. This is the time when we get to visit relatives and friends, and enjoy traditional Christmas fare.
To me Christmas, it is a time to contemplate on how blessed one is throughout the year in spite of trials. It is also a time of forgiving, sharing and kindness towards family, officemates, strangers and most especially (gulp!) people you don’t like.

Person of the Year - Time Magazine
I can’t blog in Tagalog! Hahahaha. I feel so incompetent in using the language. So I’ll stick to the language of my choice–English. I think in it, it was the first language I learned, and it’s the best language to express my thoughts with.
I’ve been busy for the past few months due to my work. At long last I can rest na...and go back to my normal life in the office, as for me...back to my real world. It’s that time of the year again when you just have to do something new. We’re suckers for lists fortune 500’s wealthiest people in the world; the best dressed, worst dressed lists; surveys about ourselves and the list goes on and on. And now, here’s the upcoming cover story of Time Magazine about the“person of the year” . Going with the trend this year 2006 has open a lot of opportunities for more and much better featured of “social networking site” such as: Friendster, Myspace, Multiply, You Tube and others that continue competing to each others to attract more people to share something over the internet.
What makes these more interesting is that you can sense the sincerity of everyone to share: be it a personal tidbit, or his opinion on a bit of news. When I started joining social online networks, I learned that being considerate of others will make more fun. You have to maintain a sense of diplomacy in your post, and that I am part of a global community after all.
Although the Internet can be a scary place indeed and joining social online networks is one of the ways to open up ourselves to the rest of the online community. But how much of yourself you would like to share is really up to you. You have control over that, nobody else. We interact with people everyday and the social online networks is simply an extension of this interaction.

Cost –Reduction
“I keep my ideas because in spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can’t build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery and death. I can feel the suffering of millions, and yet, if I look up into the heavens, I think that it will come right, that this cruelty too will end, and that peace and tranquility will return again.” (Anne Frank)
“Life is an adventure in forgiveness.” (Norman Cousins, Human Options)
“Jesus said that we would have no enemies nor that there never would be a threat. There is no lack of realism here. Jesus offers us a new way to deal with our enemies, a different way of responding that has the potential to break the endless cycle of retaliation that now threatens us all with ultimate violence.” (Jim Walls)
Now, let us tackle the most important and interesting about our life – how to handle your detractors. The first thing to do is to identify him, her or them. You can best deal with the devil you know than the devil you don’t know. Then, you can devise a personalized approach at dealing with each type.
I will advise you not to attack your detractors head-on. That is counterproductive. Some are just plain nuisance – you can simply ignore them. Others just need attention – give them importance by enlisting them to join in your efforts. You may organize a team of “cheapskates” (call it by another name, perhaps “cost-reduction committee – to paraphrase my entry subject) and enroll all your detractors and make them champions in their own areas. Encourage others to acknowledge the effort of this group, until cost reduction becomes a way of life in your organization. This way, you turn your enemies into allies and you develop a more cost conscious, albeit competitive, organization.

Oh So Friendly to Mr.Pig
Piece of advice to the fairly squeamish: watching the slaughter of animal is okay as long as it isn’t meant to be your food.
To the obsessed green eaters currently campaigning against the circle of life: don’t read this (I don’t advise any perfectly normal vegetarian to do so either). You see my friend has a huge farm some distance away with animals, which they don’t mind having killed for their guest.
Come to think of it, any animal about to be slaughtered was a celebrity and worth having our pictures taken with. After several clicks, the moment could no longer be delayed. We watched with horror as piglet was carried by his legs, pinned down, slashed at the throat, and we all know what spilled to the ground (am I being too graphic?). I couldn’t bear to watch. I can’t look! I, blurted out, half screaming “oink!” said someone else. Several minutes after his last breath, I could still hear piglet’s bleats for mercy during his final moments ~ the dead pig and all that blood, the scene also looked a bit similar to the cult rituals described and shown in some books and movies.
As I feared, mealtime was far from pleasurable. Piglet had been turned into “very rich mechado and menudo”. I was planning to go “oink” at the table, mimicking to my best ability piglet’s pained voice. But alas, I could not get myself to eat him. I only ate the potatoes and carrots with the sauce smothered on my rice.
Watching the killing of an animal is like watching a horror movie. It’s a cool, eye-popping and slightly traumatic experience. But it will haunt you afterwards, especially when “the meal” arrives at your dinner table. If those pieces of cooked flesh could talk, they would taunt you, “Eat me. Eat me. Mwahahaha!

Prayer
Ariel, my six- year old cousin, was deeply disturbed when she saw a dead bird. She asked me where the bird will go. I answered that I didn’t know. She asked why it died, to which I hesitantly answered, “Well, all birds return to earth. “ At this, we both agreed to bury the bird in a box with paper napkin, accompanied by a little procession to the garden. As we planted a little cross over the grave, Ariel prayed, “Dear God, we have buried this little bird. Now be good to her or else… Amen.”
As we walked home, I said, “You didn’t have to threaten God.” And Ariel answered, “I just wanted to be sure.”
We may find ourselves in situation similar to Ariel’s that make us demand how God should be God. From that scenario I’ve encountered to my cousin I remembered that somebody once told me, “why pray when you can worry?” Is this not much easier than praying and not getting anything really in return? When we see those situations like that give God his place only then can the other things take their proper places. I believe that not to worry about unknown future but to live a day at a time. Real necessities and true value of life needed to be rooted in faith in the providence of God. Being “anxious” is being preoccupied or absorbed by the basic human needs to the neglect of the Divine Providence, a key value in our faith.
I always believed that when we pray then it does not mean that we get something in return but that our anxiety is being lifted to God so that he may understand our situation. God knows our capacities to face challenges more than we do.

Cannes Chasers vs. Brand Builders
There are two schools of thought in the creative departments of ad agencies today: The Cannes chasers and the brand builders.
Cannes is the genre of out-of the box creatives, whose adherents, mostly the new young generation of ad writers, whose big ambition is to win awards in the most famous hall of them all, the Cannes Festival, the Oscar of advertising.
Brand builders are more traditional. They are driven by sales and market performance, at least 30 years of experience in advertising doing brand building. They work in partnership with companies applying the multidisciplinary requirements of marketing and communications strategy. Winning awards is immaterial to them. Awareness of brand message and market gains are.
Both schools worship the goddess of creativity. But their attitudes and outlook differ in creating advertising.
Cannes wannabes are licentious and rule breakers, obsessed with execution. They presume that the advertising will manage to deliver a brand message regardless of whether the creative execution is irrelevant or relevant, strategic or general. The selling job will be done by the distinctiveness of the advertising rather than the distinctiveness of the brand benefit.
Think –out-of-the-box. Intrusive, Interruptive. These buzzwords are the big criteria in creating ads intended for Cannes.
Brand builders think more rationally in creating campaigns. They try to secure the efficiency and effectively of their ads with consumer tests on both the product / service and its communication execution before launching the campaign. The marketing department and ad agency have a historical knowledge of the brand’s progress to help them adopt the best practices and avoid mistakes of the past.
Brand builders are long-term planners not peripatetic job hoppers or bounty hunters. They acquire tenure and create a body of work necessary for brand building. They attach great value on brand equity as a long – term positioning but constantly enhancing competitiveness through product & service improvement and the spinning off of variants to generate trial and new usages.
Cannes fans have few actual demo cases. Most Cannes creations are either local or regional award winners but rarely represent mainstream products and services in the huge Philippine mass market. They are usually done for small or medium advertisers with no real equity or size to consider. Still others are tactical ads whose messages are short – term flashes in the pan and are not part of grand design of a product’s and services long – term image. Although they claim high attention, their results in the market are fleeting and short-lived. As soon as the ad is withdrawn consumer demand is also withdrawn, demonstrating the quick wear out and easy surfeit of interruptive ad executions.
When creative writers of the Cannes species hit the jackpot in the market place, they are called geniuses. If they bomb out, it’s plain stupidity. Several market dynamics are challenging the new generation of creatives to pursue the Cannes route. Among them are the thick advertiser clutter, the evolving sophistication in consumer aesthetics and visual literacy, the fickleness of consumers due to the quick birth and death of a myriad new products and services.
The age of discontinuity predicted by Peter Drucker in the early sixties is here. So is the age of short attention span.
While Cannes chasers take the big leap of faith (you can’t pretest rule-breaking ideas) brand builders enjoy the best of both worlds. Cannes chasers have the upper hand in the intrusive aspect of advertising. They are users of various figures of speech; hyperbole, wit, fantasy, parody, lampoon, irony and double speak. In print they are minimalist, shunning verbals, relying on visuals, an art director’s medium to convey symbolic messages.
Both Cannes chasers and brand builders recognize that one of the most powerful vessels of brand image and message is people’s culture. Culture content is an excellent element to affirm brand’s affinitive connectivity with the sociology of its consumers. It also reflects the corporate personality and philosophy of the advertiser.
The last Ad Congress themes “ Ready for the world?” seem to reflect an inferiority complex. Because we don’t have Cannes trophies like Thailand, the U.S., France and others? Because most of our ads are native and not completely graspable to foreigners?
Marketing today is constantly facing the challenges of relentless changes in technology, globalized economy, lifestyles and the homogenization of wants and needs.
Today “ proprietary” properties are available to any businessmen, information technology empowers consumers, retail chains wield more power from path to purchase to point of purchase, pricing is the biggest determinant in consumer purchase.
The question that advertising people nervously ask is, “ will the brand be still important in the years to come?” what new role will the manufacturer of goods take? After the unbundlings, will the ad agencies be extinct?
Only one thing seems certain. The altar of creativity will always be lighted, and the creators of sales messages will always be around spouting new buzzwords.
Can Cannes chasers be brand builders? Yes, of course. They know the rules. But clients must legislate. Can brand builders be Cannes chasers? Difficult. It’s not their cup of tea, and they are not daredevils.

You are The Moon

You are The Moon
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.
The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.
What Tarot Card are You?

Life In General
How do you measure the passing of a year? Do you start counting 365 days, 8760 hours or 526,000 minutes? Do you just count the memorable moments, successes and failures, accomplished goals, failed attempts, friends gained and / or lost? Certainly, a year cannot go by without going through breathtaking moments, as well as painful ones. We win some battles and loose many along the way. There are days when the minutes feel like hours, we can’t get enough day of a day’s one shining moment, and we relieve it over and over in our minds. Life is a whirlwind, of happenings – you never know what you’ll be feeling tomorrow, because you only have today.
It is a challenge for me as it is for others, to accept pain as part of life. It is not to be ignored; it is to endured. I do not encouraged people to have a martyr complex but sometimes going through hardship is unavoidable. When they say” Anything that doesn’t kill you will make you stronger “ better believe it. Like a wooden sculpture that needs to chiseled, each of us is a work in progress.
Life is too short to spend feeling sorry for yourself, whatever the problem that each of us have, one thing for sure there’s always a solution for it. Challenge is what makes life exciting. Everywhere we look we see people testing themselves. That’s why we play all those computer games. It’s difficult. We want to test ourselves, and move to the next level. It’s why people love to play billiard. Billiard is so hard! It’s designed to drive you nuts. Remember how happy you were when you learned to read and write the ABC. Remember how proud you were the day you learned to drive a car or ride a bike? You haven’t changed! You are happiest when you are solving problems. That’s when you see what you are made of. Let’s stop pretending that we want our life to be easy. When things get too easy, we get bored and leave and look for another challenge.
Life is too precious to remain self-absorbed. Open your eyes! There’s a whole world out there waiting to be discovered. We are part of this vast universe that does need OUR EXISTENCE, yet we can make a difference to people we touch. With the wonders of knowledge and perseverance, we can influence those around us to do positive things.
Let me tell you something that never be afraid to believe… and more important to realize ANYTHING is possible! Whatever it is you can make it happen! “Believe what you want to dream. Go where you want to go. Be what you want to be because you only have one life and one chance to do all things you want to do.” Better believe that your dreams will unfold someday right before your very eyes… (Trust me on this one!)

Building the Image
Reading Newspaper, watching TV or just simply walking down the streets chances are, your eyes will be greeted by advertisement. In our world characterized by head – to –head competition unfettered entry of new more aggressive players, it is no longer enough to just rely on superiority in price, product, place, and promotion.
Next to sales, one of the most difficult jobs of every organization is how to build its image to the general or the buying public. A organization should be able to persuade its target markets that they will stand by their own products / services no matter what happen, and it will continue to develop and innovate their craft to satisfy their clients. This is the reason why most companies advertiser their products on TV, radio, print, online, billboards, posters and others medium available. Some organization even sponsors events like sports, beauty contest, launching and a lot more. It’s all about image. It’s about influencing people’s attitudes and perceptions towards things. It’s not always an easy task; especially when your intended target market already has a prior mindset.
To further achieve these goals, most organizations also put a big importance on the role of Marketing and Public Relations. People now are very careful when they part with their money. Everything boils down to trust. The products / services name may never appear in balance sheets, but its value is far more than assets and the people combined. It is the reputation and perception of the products / services that makes or breaks a organization.
At the end of the day all Marketing and Public Relations practioners are never too old to innovate. It requires a never – ending effort to capture the effort to engage and capture the imagination of every single individual, every single target market. More importantly, it requires a relentless quest to bring profoundly new benefits to consumers.

Bones For Hungry Dogs
The Webster dictionary defines bonuses as monies paid on top of someone’s normal compensation plan.
As far as my department is concerned, our net income to date is more or less the same as that of January to October last year. At glance, this may not seem much. However, a close examination of the company’s financial statement tell us that these earnings were made despite the fact that our present monthly provision for possible account losses is 5% ( 50,000) compare to 0.1% ( 1,000) last year ( for every advertisement / media research release). The department is very much aware of the purpose. This would not have been possible if not for the collective efforts of the staff.
I know that it is a management prerogative, in the exercise of its business judgment, to grant a bonus to its employees. And I believe department staff deserves it in recognition of their industry, loyalty, excellent performance, good behavior, and exemplary deeds on beyond the call of duty. Sometimes, creative / media/research need to work at night and even on two in the morning including Saturdays and Sundays. Not to mention, that embracing the nature of our work has never been easy.
As saying goes; “you’ve got to give to get”. It’s as simple as that. The more resources and attention you give them, the more aesthetically pleasant they get. The same is true for the staff. The more you give them rewards, praise, feedback, attention, incentives, growth opportunities, the more they give dedication, hard work, positive attitude, and creativity, simply put motivation.
Presently we do have problems and flaws in our department. But we don’t give up. As time goes by, our portfolio will improve. As long as we make improvements, we will see positive results. They may not come overnight, but as they say, “Rome was not built in a day.”
We work hard. The bonus is a gift that springs from the generosity of the employer. We believe there is rhyme and reason to reward us.

Rich Dad Poor Dad
Robert Kiyosaki,is best - known for his books on investing. In an attempt to open more minds to the thought of processes of the rich, Kiyosaki has created several games to reinforce the points in his books.
Excerpts from Rich Dad Poor Dad :
“Life is pushes all of us around. Some give up. Others Fight. A few learn the lesson and move on. They welcome life pushing them around. To these few people, it means they need and want to learn something. They learn and move on. Most quit, and a few like you fight."
~~~
"You'd best change your point of view. Stop blaming me, thinking I'm the problem. If you think I'm the problem, then you have to change me. If you realize that you're the problem,then you change yourself, learn something and grow wiser. Most people want everyone else change the world to change but themselves. Let me tell you, it's easier to change yourself than everyone else."
~~~
“Learning how to have money work for you is a lifetime study. Most people go to college for four years, and their education ends. I already know that my study of money will continue over my lifetime, simply because the more I find out, the more I need to know. Most people never study these subject."
~~~
“They go to work, get their paycheck balance their checkbooks and that's it. on the top of that, they wonder why they have many problems. Then, they think that more money will solve the problem. Few realize that it's their lack of financial education that is the problem."
~~~
"Most people have a price. And they have a price because of human emotions named fear and greed. First, the fear of being without money motivates us to work hard, and then once we get that paycheck, greed or desire start us thinking about all the wonderful things money can buy. The pattern is then set."

If We Fall In Love - Princess Hours

There will be no ordinary days for you
If there is someone who cares like I do
You got no reason to be sad anymore
I'm always ready with a smile
With just one glimpse of you
You don't have to search no more
Coz I am someone
Who will love you for sure
So if we fall in-love
Maybe we'll sing this song as one
If we fall in-love
We can write a better song than this
If we fall in-love
We will have this melody in our heads
If we fall in-love
Anywhere with you would be a better place
You can watch sad movies
In a different light
Coz I will be right there beside you,
Hugging you oh so tight
Your hands will never feel
So cold and empty again
Coz I will keep on holding on
And won't let go
You don't have to search no more
Coz I am someone
Who will love you for sure
So if we fall in-love
Maybe we'll sing this song as one
If we fall in-love
We can write a better song than this
If we fall in-love
We will have this melody in our heads
If we fall in-love
Anywhere with you would be a better place
Feels so good when you're around
One smile from you make my days
Feel so right!
So if we fall in-love
Maybe we'll sing this song as one
If we fall in-love
We can write a better song than this
If we fall in-love
We will have this melody in our heads
If we fall in-love
Anywhere with you would be a better place

hahaha..i know i should be sleeping na

A discreet shout-out... (What a comeback!)
I'm sorry... I really just have to share this. I just got this from
my friend I couldn't agree more to the bad attitude of DJ Mo Twister's morning show: ruin the reputation of other people by gaining his own popularity to the expense of others, which really pissed me off! The reason as to why I posted this even though an enthusiastic devotee DJ Mo (fan) might have read it already, is because I just want to stress the fact that this truth we as humans should be very responsible in what we're saying, in everything we do and say, we must ask: Is this something that builds a better community, a better country, a better world, or is it something that pollutes or takes away! People have asked how we can bring the spirit of karangalan into our daily lives. This is one practical example: To think speak, and act in ways that build rather than destroy. Act responsibly.
Anyway, I'm not masochistic...and not a fan of vina morales although I know that I'm not in the position and I don't really have the right to say these things haha! silly noh..... hiyess..ano ba yan ang drama...but I can really feel the tension kaguluhan! And the friction among the other people out there..you get the scenario naman dba? It’s usually these days that you can detect a lot of things.
Tomorrow will just be another day...could it be more special than today? Or will it still be the same...

This is beautiful... try not to cry
This is a forwarded e-mailed by kateri joy "When you're down to nothing, God is up to something."
This is beautiful! Try not to cry.
She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy ? Is he going to be all right ? When can I see him ?"
The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it."
Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer ? Doesn't God care any more ? Where were you, God, when my son needed you ?"
The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son ? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university."
Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. "Would you like a lock of his hair ?" the nurse asked.
Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.
The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study.. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could."
Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.
The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.
She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.
It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:
"Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say "I Love You". I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with.. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD ! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom ? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him ?' "God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool ? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery ! How about that ?
Signed with Love from God, Jesus & Me.

Pangarap Lang by Yeng Constantino!!!
Pangarap kong makarating sa buwan at
Lumipad hanggang doon sa kalawakan
Nais kong humabol sa pag-ikot ng mundo
Sumabay sa awit ko
CHORUS
Sasakay ako sa aking pangarap
Basta't ang kasama ko'y ikaw, may liwanag
Sasakay ako sa aking pangarap
Hangga't ang laman ng puso ko'y ikaw, may liwanag
[Repeat]

Since I have nothing extraordinary to write about, let me just...
GAAAAAHHHH...Here's a sweet truth: Someday, someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else.yun ba masasabi ko dun sealed my lips.
Usapang picture tayo check nyo etoh kuya D of hangad pic Sinong masaya, SINO?!
Delight yourself in the goodness of the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:4
I've decided on a closure, tapos na yun I know na windang talaga yun. But what I do know is that I have finally left everything to His will, that I have entrusted to Him the future, and that I have finally lifted up to Him whatever there is to anticipate. And so I promised that after that 2004 net freak event, there will be no more worries and fears. I am bracing myself for the worst but I will never give up on believing that somehow, someday I will triumph--that somehow, someday I will live my every dream.
Prayer is a lifestyle. Prayer is not something you rely on only when you need or want something. In prayer, you should not expect that He will grant your every plea. When you pray for something, you should trust His wisdom because He knows what's best. He gives you what you need, not what you want. Should that thing you want bring you harm or change you in a way that will detach you from Him, He will not give it to you. He will not let you go astray.
The pain is over now. He has healed me.(The case of Saih is a different story, at labas ako doon.)
I live each day according to His will. Each day will become an adventure, an opportunity for great feats, a privilege to be a blessing to others, and an offering to the only One whom my life should be lived for.
I delight myself in Your goodness, Lord, and I lift everything up to Your great hands.
